DELAND, Fla.- The Northern Kentucky University women's tennis team opened Atlantic Sun Conference play at Stetson University on Thursday, as Stetson defeated NKU, 7-0.
 
Stetson's Sara Lazarevic and Andrea Crespo defeated NKU's Shana Kleynen and Marta Romeo, 8-2 in doubles. Stetson's Diana Bukajeva and Jen Miller, Lindsey Cable and Eveline Lepinay also succeeded in doubles.
 
The Stetson women (6-4, 1-0 A-Sun) swept NKU (0-7, 0-1 A-Sun) in singles matches.
 
The Norse return to action on Saturday, March 16, for more conference play at Florida Gulf Coast.
