HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky University women's tennis team closed out its Atlantic Sun Conference schedule with a 6-0 defeat at the hands of North Florida.
Shana Kleynen had chances, losing a tough first set 7-5 at No. 3 singles against UNF's Marina Cunningham. Cunningham finished the second set 6-2, winning her 21st singles match of the year.
North Florida improves to 13-4 overall and 6-1 in A-Sun play this season.
NKU (0-15, 0-8 A-Sun) closes the home half of the schedule with a pair of matches this week. The Norse host IPFW on Sunday and Walsh on Wednesday before ending the regular season at the National Invitation Tennis Tournament in New Jersey next weekend.
