Josh Miller was on the cusp of scoring in shot put and the hammer throw but he did earn one point for the Norse in the discus. He finished eighth with a mark of 36.89 meters.
The Norse would finish the meet with 28 points, earning a sixth-place finish. They made a slight improvement of two points from the A-Sun Indoor Championships back in February. The Kennesaw State Owls won their fourth A-Sun outdoor championship behind the 47-points won by the event's MVP Andre Dorsey. The Owls finished with 259 points; followed by East Tennessee State with 202 and Lipscomb with 145.
With this meet coming to a close, the Norse have wrapped up the inaugural NCAA Division I season of men's track & field. A majority of the team will return to action in the fall during cross country season.
