NKU PLAYS AT JU: Northern Kentucky concludes its two-game road trip Saturday with a 3:15 p.m. contest at Jacksonville. The Norse dropped a 67-66 decision at North Florida on Thursday night to begin the trip.
NKU is 2-1 all-time against Jacksonville, including a 73-66 win on Jan. 4.

North Florida trailed 66-65 with 16.8 seconds left and fouled
Todd Johnson, who missed the front end of the bonus. Dallas Moore dribbled up the floor and missed a short jumper in the closing seconds, but Nesbitt grabbed the loose ball after a tip attempt and scored with 1.1 seconds remaining to give North Florida a 67-66 lead.
NKU attempted a length-of-the-court pass on its final possession, but the Ospreys knocked the ball away as the buzzer sounded.Â
Moore scored 21 points to lead North Florida, which improved to 12-11 overall, 6-4 in the Atlantic Sun Conference. The Ospreys made 46.2 percent of their shots from the field and were 14-for-20 at the free-throw line.

LAST-SECOND HEARTBREAKERS: NKU has lost back-to-back games by one point. The Norse dropped a 75-74 decision to Lipscomb prior to the loss at North Florida.
PERFECT FROM 3: Todd Johnson made all four of his 3-point attempts against North Florida. The sophomore point guard finished 6-for-7 from the field and added three steals in that game.
THE LAST TIME AGAINST JACKSONVILLE: Earlier this season on Jan. 4, NKU closed the game with a 20-5 run to pull out a 73-66 win over Jacksonville in The Bank of Kentucky Center. The Norse trailed by eight points (61-53) with less than nine minutes remaining in the game.
Jordan Jackson scored a career-high 28 points to lead NKU. Jackson poured in 15 points during the first half on 7-for-10 shooting from the field. Jackson constantly beat the Jacksonville defenders off the dribble and scored on a variety of moves slashing to the basket.
Jarvis Haywood netted 14 of his team-high 19 points in the first half as Jacksonville took a 38-37 lead into the locker room. Keith McDougald added 12 points of his 18 points in the first half as the Dolphins shot 42.3 percent from the field and were 14-for-16 from the free-throw line before intermission.
In the second half, Jacksonville was just 1-for-5 from the free-throw line.

Jalen Billups collected a double-double with 10 points and a career-high 12 rebounds.
Todd Johnson added 11 points, including a clutch 3-pointer in the final minute of the game that extended to 66-65 NKU lead into a 69-65 advantage.
