NORSE NOTES (FIVE STARTERS & ONE)
1• NKU is 8-19 overall after dropping an 89-67 decision at Mercer on Sunday. The Norse are 4-11 in the Atlantic Sun Conference.
2• Mercer buried a school-record 16 3-point field goals against NKU. The Bears jumped out to a 24-8 lead during the first nine minutes of the game and coasted.

NKU VISITS LIPSCOMB: Northern Kentucky visits Lipscomb at 7 p.m. Friday for the Atlantic Sun Conference/Comcast Sports Southeast Friday Night Game of the Week. The Norse are 8-19 overall, 4-11 in the Atlantic Sun Conference.
Lipscomb is 12-14 overall, 7-8 in the Atlantic Sun Conference. The Bisons own a 4-2 lead in the all-time series with NKU.
CAMPS ON A ROLL: NKU freshman forward
Daniel Camps scored 14 points and dished out a career-high six assists in the loss at Mercer on Sunday. Two night earlier, Camps netted a career-high 16 points against Kennesaw State.
Camps averages 5.8 points per game and is shooting 48.1 percent from the field. He has scored in double figures five times this season and has started the past two games.
BACK TO FORM: NKU sophomore guard
Tyler White poured in 16 points against Mercer and averages 10.4 ppg. White, who missed a game due to a hand injury two weeks ago, has buried a team-leading 42 shots from 3-point range.
AIR JORDAN: NKU junior guard
Jordan Jackson continues to lead the team in scoring (13.9 ppg), assists (2.8 apg) and steals (1.5 spg). He has scored in double figures 19 times this season, with a high of 28 against Jacksonville on Jan. 4.
MURRAY FOR 3: NKU freshman
Cole Murray is third on the team in 3-pointers made (39) and averages 5.1 points per contest. In the last game against Lipscomb, Murray drained five 3-pointers and tied his career-high scoring total with 17 against the Bisons. Murray netted 12 points at Mercer on Sunday and has scored in double figures four times.
THE LAST TIME AGAINST LIPSCOMB: Earlier this season on Jan. 24, Malcolm Smith scored 21 points, including the game-clinching basket with 10 seconds remaining, as Lipscomb held off a furious NKU rally and pulled out a 75-74 victory in Highland Heights, Ky.
Lipscomb held a 13-point lead (66-53) with 3:48 remaining in the game, but NKU used full-court pressure that forced four turnovers to ignite an 18-7 run.
Tyler White's basket with 43 seconds left capped the spurt and cut the Lipscomb lead to 73-71.
NKU fouled Carter Sanderson with 31 seconds remaining, and he missed both free throws to give the Norse a chance to either tie or take the lead.
Cole Murray, however, missed a 3-point attempt and Sanderson grabbed the rebound.
Sanderson passed ahead to Martin Smith, who fed an open Malcolm Smith for a layup that extended the Lipscomb advantage to 75-71 with 10 seconds remaining.
Todd Johnson buried a 3-pointer as time expired to account for the final margin.
Jordan Jackson scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for NKU. Murray equaled his career-high scoring total with 17 points, including five 3-point field goals.
