HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – A trio of Norse posted double-figures in scoring on Saturday night to lead the Northern Kentucky women's basketball team to a 66-46 win over Indiana East for its first victory of the 2016-17 campaign.
The Quote
"Obviously, we're happy to get a win. We need confidence right now, so getting a win helps us with that especially heading into a really tough game at Ohio on Monday. I'm happy with our team and our effort. I was pleased with Taryn [Taugher] and Hayley [Combs] off the bench. I thought they were two really big bright spots for us. They came in and really worked hard, crashed the glass, got offensive rebounds and did what we have been asking them to do." – Head coach
Camryn Whitaker
