Drew McDonald's career-night led Northern Kentucky to an 83-75 victory over Cleveland State.
• NKU moved to 12-5 on the year and needs just one win to match it's Division I-era record for wins (13) set in the 2014-15 season as a member of the Atlantic Sun.

• Northern Kentucky surged into the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 Poll for the first time ever on Dec. 19 at No. 24. The team was ranked for two-straight weeks and is still receiving votes.
• McDonald grabbed his second Horizon League player of the week honor after totaling 52 points and 25 rebounds in a pair of wins over YSU and CSU, averaging 26 points and 12.5 boards.
• McDonald tallied a career-high 37 points, including 30 in the first half alone, against CSU. He is now averaging team-highs in scoring (16.7 ppg) and rebounding (8.2 rpg).

Mason Faulkner collected his first Horizon League Freshman of the Week honor after averaging 20 points and four assists against Youngstown State and Cleveland State, which included an impressive 24 points against YSU on Thursday.
• Faulkner is now averaging 5.9 points per game, a number that balloons to 14.5 ppg in Horizon League action.

Lavone Holland II is second in scoring at 14.5 ppg, but leads the team in assists (3.8 apg).

Carson Williams, a two-time Horizon League Freshman of the Week honoree, is third on the team in scoring at 10.9 ppg and second in rebounding (5.9 rpg).

Jordan Garrett continues to find ways to contribute. A game after holding YSU's Cameron Morse, who was averaging 23.1 ppg (fourth-best in the nation) to just 13 points, he recorded nine points and three assists versus CSU.
