HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky University women's soccer team earned a 2-0 shutout victory over Lipscomb on Thursday night. The Norse move to 4-2, while the Bisons fall to 3-2-2.
"Lipscomb has an excellent program, and we are thrilled to earn a shutout victory," said NKU head coach
Bob Sheehan. "Payton (Naylor) to Sam (Duwel) to Erin (Sutton) was a classic goal. Emily (Soltes) was assertive on the dribble and played a great ball to Shawna (Zaken), who is an outstanding finisher. Our defense was again fantastic tonight. Our senior class has set the tone in terms of leadership and commitment, and we couldn't be any more pleased with our group."
