HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Karl Harris led Northern Kentucky to an 86-56 victory over visiting Midway on Monday night with his first career double-double. The win elevates NKU's record to 5-2, while Midway slips to 3-6.
 
Stats Leaders

• Harris finished with a game-high 21 points and 10 rebounds for the double-double.
• Bryson Langdon scored 17 points, including 15 in the first half. He made 7-of-9 from the floor and 3-of-4 from 3-point range.
• Adham Eleeda chipped in a career-best 12 points.

 
Turning Point

• Leading 20-11, Northern Kentucky scored nine of the next 11 points to pull ahead by 16 with 8:49 left in the opening stanza. NKU led by double digits the rest of the way.

 
First Half Summary

• Langdon set the tone early for NKU, scoring 15 points in the opening stanza thanks to 6-for-7 shooting. He also had four of the team's seven assists.
• A series of mini-runs established Northern Kentucky's 46-23 halftime advantage. Including the aforementioned 9-2 run, the Norse added a second 9-2 spurt and closed the half with five unanswered.
• NKU shot a blistering 16-of-28 (57 percent) from the floor, including 11-13 inside the arc.
• Midway was held to only 11-of-30 (37 percent) and was forced into 10 miscues.
• Harris added nine points, as 10 Norse scored in the half.

• Midway through the second half the Norse strung together a 14-2 run, with Harris netting eight of the points and Eleeda tallying four.
• Northern Kentucky extended its lead to as many as 36, 80-44, with 4:48 remaining.
• NKU shot 49 percent (16-of-33) from the floor, while Midway converted 50 percent (14-of-28).

 
Game Notes

• The Norse, who entered the game allowing opponents to convert only 28 percent from long range, held true to form. The Eagles were limited to 2-of-15 (13 percent) from deep.
• NKU finished the contest shooting 53 percent (16-of-33) and 33 percent from three. Midway was held to 43 percent  (25-of-58) from the floor.
• Northern Kentucky won the battle of the boards, 43-30, and outscored Midway, 15-6, in second-chance points.  
• All 12 Norse that saw the court scored.
