HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky dropped the final two contests in a Horizon League series with IUPUI. The Norse first suffered a five-inning loss, 13-5, before a low-scoring 1-0 setback in the second matchup. The Norse fall to 7-18 overall and 0-3 in the Horizon League while the Jaguars advance to 8-21 (3-0 Horizon).

- Koperdak pitched 5.0 innings, with one batter struck out and one walked. She drops to 1-9 with the loss.
- Hailey Whitmer also appeared for the Norse, allowing one hit and walking one, but suffered a pair of earned runs against her.
Scoring Summary
- IUPUI got on the board early as an RBI single, followed by an RBI double, allowed the Jaguars to take a 2-0 lead.
- The Jaguars were retired in order in the second, but exploded for eight runs in the third inning, loading the bases with one out to set the stage for the offensive burst.
- Stalter reached base on a fielder's choice in the bottom of the third, advancing to second on a wild pitch. Mulder delivered a single up the middle, allowing Stalter to score for the Norse.
- IUPUI added a pair of runs in the fourth as a leadoff single was followed up by a two-run home run.
- Koperdak led off the fourth with a double down the left field line and was able to score on a throwing error by IUPUI's third baseman. The Norse later loaded the bases, and Stalter doubled down the right field line to drive in Taylor Hoover and Kambra Crist. NKU rounded out the scoring in the frame with an RBI groundout by Mulder, scoring Frazier.
- IUPUI's scoring continued to taper in the fifth, as the Jaguars plated one run off an RBI double to right center.

- Taylor Ginther pitched the complete game, striking out three batters and walking none. She falls to 5-9 with the setback.
Scoring Summary
- Ginther made quick work of the Jaguars in the early innings, facing just 10 batters in the first three frames with only one hit allowed.
- IUPUI plated its lone run of the contest in the sixth inning as a single with an advance on an error putting a Jaguar on second. She was advanced on a fielder's choice and driven in thanks to a single up the middle.
