HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky women's basketball will take on Miami (Ohio) this week in Oxford, Ohio, as the Norse and RedHawks square off Wednesday, Nov. 24 at 6 p.m.

FAST BREAK POINTS
• NKU was defeated in its' last matchup, on the road against Milwaukee by a final score of 61-49.    
• Grayson Rose continues to climb the NKU all-time stat ladders, as she is now tied for third with Janet Brungs at 132 blocks. Rose also ranks 19th overall in total rebounds and 20th in games played.
• Khamari Mitchell-Steen continues to make an impact on the court during her freshman year, as she currently leads the Norse in total steals with 10. She is averaging 7.5 points per game as well.  
• Lindsey Duvall scored 14 total points in the game at Milwaukee on Saturday. Duvall has now scored in double-digits in every single game she has played for the Norse.
• The 61-52 victory over the Phoenix last Thursday (Nov. 18) was the first-ever win in Green Bay for Northern Kentucky.
• Duvall and Ivy Turner each received conference accolades with Duvall earning Horizon League Preseason All-League First Team and Turner getting an All-League Second Team nod.
• The Norse were picked to finish fourth in the 2021-22 Horizon League Preseason Coaches Poll.
• The Norse finished the 2020-21 season eighth overall in the Horizon League. NKU defeated Robert Morris in the first round of the conference tournament before falling to rival and number one seed Wright State in the quarterfinals.
 
SCOUTING MIAMI (Ohio)
Miami is led offensively by Peyton Scott and Ivy Wolf as the duo is currently averaging 22.7 and 14.0 points per game, respectively. Scott and Wolf have combined for 110 total points out of the 227 score by the RedHawks through three games. The RedHawks face the Norse in their home opener Wednesday, Nov. 24 after playing the previous three games on the road. Miami most recently picked up a win over Xavier by a final score of 77-73.

SERIES STUFF
The Norse and Redhawks are tied up at 7-7 in the all-time series between these two programs. When playing in Oxford, the series is tied up at 3-3 as well. The last time these two squads met was on Nov. 15, 2016 in Highland Heights, where Miami defeated NKU 60-50.
