Fast Break Points
• The Norse enter this week on a four-game winning streak after defeating Wofford on the road 84-64.
• NKU caught fire from beyond the arc in the Wofford game, knocking down 16 total 3-pointers to break the Norse women's basketball single-game record for three's. The previous record of 15 was set back on Jan. 18, 2003 against Southern Indiana.
• Northern Kentucky is off to its best start at 8-3 since the 2015-16 season when the Norse began the year at 8-3 overall as well.

Lindsey Duvall kept her double-digit scoring streak alive while in a Norse uniform, totaling 21 points in the win over Wofford. Her streak of scoring in double-figures with Northern Kentucky is now at 30 straight games.
• Duvall posted her sixth 20-plus point game of the season, finishing with 21 overall vs. the Terriers.
• Duvall tied her career-high in rebounds with 14 against Wofford. She pulled down 14 boards earlier this year at Saint Louis.

Carissa Garcia tied her career-high in made three-pointers with five at Wofford. She previously totaled five last season at Milwaukee.

Ivy Turner tied her career-high in points against Wofford with 24. She previously scored 24 points this earlier season at Central Arkansas.

Grayson Rose continues to climb the charts in the NKU history books, as she currently ranks 14th all-time in career rebounds (674), tied for17th all-time in games played (119) and tied for second in blocked shots average (1.2). Rose jumped to second all-time in career blocked shots earlier this season as well.
• Rose currently leads the Horizon League in rebounding with 9.5 boards per game, and ranks first in the conference in total rebounds with 105 total. She additionally leads the League in total blocked shots with 32 this season.
• Rose ranks 10th in the nation in total blocks, and also ranks 11th in the country in blocks per game at 2.91. Rose has been a force on the glass this season, ranking 40th in the nation in total rebounds. She ranks 38th overall in rebounds per game with at 10.1 as well.
• Duvall currently ranks second overall in the Horizon League in scoring average with 19.2 points per game. Duvall is first in the conference in total points with 211 this season, and is first in total field goals made with 72.
• Turner was named the Nike Horizon League Player of the Week during the week of Nov. 20-28.\
• Duvall was named the Nike Horizon League Player of the Week during the week of Dec. 6-12.
• Duvall and Turner each received conference accolades with Duvall earning Horizon League Preseason All-League First Team and Turner getting an All-League Second Team nod.
• The Norse were picked to finish fourth in the 2021-22 Horizon League Preseason Coaches Poll.
• The Norse finished the 2020-21 season eighth overall in the Horizon League. NKU defeated Robert Morris in the first round of the conference tournament before falling to rival and number one seed Wright State in the quarterfinals.

Northern Kentucky women's basketball team shot the lights out on the road against Wofford in NKU's last contest, defeating the Terriers, 84-64, thanks to a Norse record 16 made threes. Turner posted a game-high 24 points, shooting 9-for-13 overall and 4-for-6 from beyond the arc. Duvall totaled 21 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Norse. Duvall also connected on four three-pointers. The 16 made three-pointers for NKU set a single-game record for the Norse. The previous record standing at 15 made three's, was set back on Jan. 18, 2003 against Southern Indiana.
Scouting IUPUI
IUPUI enters this week after upsetting No. 15 Iowa on the road in Iowa City, by a score of 74-73. The Jaguars are currently 5-4 overall and 2-2 overall in the Horizon League. Three-time Horizon League Player of the Year Macee Williams currently leads the Jags in both points per game at 16.9 and in rebounds per game at 7.4. IUPUI has a pair of double-digit scorers in Rachel McLimore (10.8 ppg) and Rachel Kent (10.1 ppg).
Series Stuff
Northern Kentucky and IUPUI are very familiar with each other, with this being the 27 overall matchup between these programs. The NKU have dominated the overall series at 20-6, however when playing in Indianapolis, the Norse only lead the series 7-5, losing the last five matchups on the road. The last NKU victory against IUPUI on the road was during the 1995-96 season with the Norse winning 47-44.
