Women’s @NKUTennis fall to Milwaukee in second day of competition, 2-5

CINCINNATI – Northern Kentucky women's tennis split the weekend's matchups against Milwaukee after falling to the Panthers, 5-2, on Sunday afternoon.  The Norse fall to 4-3 and the Panthers move to 8-5. 

Match Notables   
  • In doubles play, Ananya Kothokata and Elizabeth Rozin (No. 2) fell to their opponents, 6-3, but Maria Koo and Laura Sola Grau (No. 1) were able to pick up a doubles win for the Norse, 6-2. Margita Sunjic and Sylvia Gray (No. 3) lost, 6-2, giving Milwaukee the doubles point.  
  • Elizabeth Rozin (No. 3) has been dominating this season in singles play, finishing first while defeating her opponent 6-3, 6-1.
  • Maria Koo gave the Norse their second point on the afternoon, defeating Mayya Perova, 7-6 (4), 6-4.
The Norse host Oakland April 10 and 11 to continue their league play. First serves are set for 11 a.m. each day at the Lindner Tennis Center at Lunken.
