INDIANAPOLIS – The Horizon League has announced that Northern Kentucky University student-athletes Lauryn Hicks and Noah Richardson have been named to the league's student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC) for the 2021-22 school year.
 
Each of the League's 12 member institutions is represented by two student-athletes. The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is to serve as a vehicle to promote communication between the athletic administration and student-athletes at Northern Kentucky by providing a student-athlete voice within the department, discussing issues and concerns, and providing feedback as necessary.
 
Due to the continued unique and challenging times, Horizon League SAAC will forego an in-person meeting and instead will meet over several video conferences this summer to commence work for the 2021-22 academic year. As the academic year begins, SAAC members will meet virtually monthly throughout the year to discuss League issues and provide feedback to their cabinet and Council representatives as topics move through the governance structure.
