MEN'S RESULTS | WOMEN'S RESULTS
LOUISVILLE – The Northern Kentucky men's and women's cross country squads posted two more strong performances against the largest fields NKU will compete against this season as the Norse raced at the prestigious Live in Lou XC Classic, held at E.P. State Park on Saturday.
The men finished 22nd out of 45 teams while the women took 17th out of 47 programs.

NOTABLES
- The men got the day started in the 8K event and were led by
Kyle Mastin who claimed 12th overall with a time of 24:32.9. The mark just missed out on a new personal best for the senior standout at the distance and was the best finish by a Horizon League student-athlete in the race.
- The NKU men's scoring attack was rounded out by
Natnael Weldemichael (81st – 25:32.2),
Owen Mathews (138th – 25:58.4),
Nicholas Lee (174th – 26:13.8) and
Colton O'Hara (180th - 26:16.1).
- The NKU women followed things up with a 5K race of their own as the Norse were paced by
Megan Cole who took 24th overall with a mark of 18:21.0. The time too just missed out on a personal record by 10 seconds as Cole also crossed the line as the top Horizon student-athlete.

Sophia DeLisio was right behind her in 60th with a time of 18:49.5. The mark just missed on a new PR by eight seconds.

Jacquelyn Witt (107th – 19:15.3),
Chloe Boa (187th – 19:52.6) and
Nelle Yankovich (193rd – 19:54.1) rounded out the scoring student-athletes for NKU.
- For the meet, 416 student-athletes competed in the men's race while 419 student-athletes crossed the line in the women's competition.
NEXT UP
The Northern Kentucky men's and women's cross country programs will be split after a week off from competition as the Norse will have groups competing at the Bradley "Pink" Meet and the Jenna Strong Invitational, that will both toe the line on Friday, Oct. 14. The two meets will serve as the final competition for NKU before the Horizon League Championships on Saturday, Oct. 29.
