INSIDE THE NORSE BOX SCORE
- Maria Wiefering netted her first goal of the season, which was also the first tally of her NKU career. Overall, the marker was the second of her collegiate career. - Mimi Stines made her return to the keeper position and posted five saves in the draw. It was her first action since the Norse's matchup against Louisville back on August 28.
- Northern Kentucky put 20 shots at the net, with six hitting the target. It was the most shots attempted in a match so far this season, and the second-most shots on target during a contest.
- Wiefering and Meghan Carl each registered two shots on goal apiece, while Megan Sullivan and Allison King also added an attempt on target.
- NKU led in corner kicks by a 6-2 margin.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Northern Kentucky came out fast at the start and were rewarded with an early goal at the 14th-minute as Wiefering hit an absolute strike from 20-yards out that she put into the top corner of the net for the 1-0 Norse lead.
- The two sides went back and forth for the remainder of the opening half, with NKU attempting 12 shots and RMU adding eight of their own. The Norse took a 1-0 edge into the half.
- Despite outshooting the Colonials by an 8-3 margin, a defensive miscommunication led to an own goal as RMU tied the game at 1-1 at the 71st-minute.
- Another late NKU push couldn't get anything across as the two Horizon squads battled to a 1-1 draw.

FOR THE FOES
- The RMU lone goal was credited to the team.
- Isabella Bohlen turned aside five Norse shots in the draw.
