INDIANAPOLIS – Northern Kentucky men's soccer dropped another tight battle on the road Wednesday evening, falling to IUPUI 2-1.
The Norse (3-9-1, 1-5-0 Horizon) took an early 1-0 lead over the Jaguars of IUPUI (2-5-5, 1-1-3 Horizon) with Brodie Sallows finding the back of the net in the 17th minute. IUPUI found their equalizer in the 28th minute with a goal from Josemir Gomez. An intense second half saw these two teams deadlocked late into the match, until a called penalty in the box on NKU gave the Jags the opportunity to net the game winner from Lukas Hackaa.
