HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky men's soccer knocked off top Horizon League opponent Cleveland State Saturday night from Scudamore Field in dramatic fashion by a final score of 2-1.
Northern Kentucky (4-9-1, 2-5-0 Horizon) did not back down from the challenge at hand from the Vikings of CSU (9-2-2, 5-1-1 Horizon), with the visitors entering NKU Soccer Stadium without losing a conference game up to this date. Cleveland State struck first early in the first half in the 13th minute with a goal from Jannis Schmidt. The Norse shifted into high gear late in the match, as Sam Robinson blasted a shot into the goal in the 84th minute. Robinson found the game winner in the 90th minute on a cross from Deryn Armstrong to give the Norse the victory.

- Robinson continued his hot streak of finding the back of the net with a pair of games this evening, the second which prove to be the game-winner. He currently sits in a tie for second place in the Horizon League with five total this season.
