FULL RESULTS (MEN'S & WOMEN'S)
PEORIA, Ill. – The Northern Kentucky men's and women's cross country teams competed against a loaded field at the Bradley Pink Classic, hosted by Bradley University at the Newman Golf Course on Friday.
THE BASICS

NOTABLES
- The women's 6K red race got the afternoon started for the Norse and saw
Sophia DeLisio lead the group with a 136th-place finish.
- A tight pack finished behind her as the next three NKU student-athletes crossed the line within 39 seconds of each other.
Jacquelyn Witt came across first in 204th, followed by
Nelle Yankovich in 217th and
Chloe Boa in 246th.

Yasmin Garcia rounded out the NKU scoring attack in 292nd.
- The men's 8K red race took off next where NKU was paced by
Kyle Mastin in 59th overall. It is the third straight race that the senior standout has claimed the top finishing spot for the Norse.

Natnael Weldemichael also cracked into the top-100 in 96th overall.

Owen Mathews,
Nicholas Lee and
Colton O'Hara made up the rest of the NKU scored student-athletes in 191st, 230th and 236th, respectively.
- With the two races today, the Norse have continued to run at large and talented fields this season. Today's race included over 35 teams and 289 student-athletes on the men's side and 38 programs and 306 student-athletes for the women's event.
NEXT UP
Northern Kentucky will turn its full attention to championships season as the Norse prep for the 2022 Horizon League Cross Country Championships, set for October 29 at the Oakland University Cross Country course. The women's 6K championship will get the day started at 11 AM ET, followed by the men's 8K title run at noon.
