HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The heart of the fall schedule continues to roll on for Northern Kentucky Athletics as the Norse will be in action every single day this week. The slate is highlighted by home volleyball (Tuesday) and women's soccer (Sunday) matches along with a road showdown against the Ohio State men's soccer program on Wednesday. NKU's men's and women's golf programs are also both in action with Fall tournaments on Monday and Tuesday.
MEN'S SOCCER

The Norse have a pair of matches on deck this week, beginning with a quick trip north to Columbus, Ohio to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes in a mid-week nonconference contest on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 7 PM ET. It is the first time in program history that the Norse will clash with the Big Ten power.
Northern Kentucky then gets back to Horizon League play with another road match at Detroit Mercy on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 7 PM. Both matches will be broadcast in front of a national audience on Big Ten Network + (Wednesday) and ESPN+ (Saturday).

The Northern Kentucky women's soccer program is looking to start its push to the postseason with two more Horizon League matches this week. The Norse head to Purdue Fort Wayne to take on the Mastodons on Thursday, Oct 6 at 7 PM ET. That contest will be streamed in front of a national audience on ESPN+.
NKU then returns home for a Sunday afternoon showdown against Youngstown State on Sunday, Oct. 9. The match will feature Northern Kentucky's Pink Game celebration and coverage for the contest

Northern Kentucky volleyball will see a busy week ahead with three matches this week, beginning with a home contest against Horizon League rival Wright State. The Norse and Raiders will square off on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 6 PM ET inside Regents Hall.
NKU will then hit the road to face IUPUI first on Friday, Oct. 7, and then Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday, Oct. 8 to wrap up the week. The Norse split last week 1-1 overall after falling to a strong Green Bay program, but regrouped to knock off another top Horizon League foe in Milwaukee 3-1 the following day.

NKU women's golf competes in their fourth tournament of the fall, traveling to Indianapolis, Ind. for the Butler Fall Invitational. This two-day event will be hosted by Butler at the Highland Country Club and feature three rounds of play. The Norse will take a strong field that includes Ball State, Marshall, Tennessee State, Dayton and Youngstown State.

The Norse men's golf program will also be competing in their fourth fall tournament of the year, traveling up north to Westlake, Ohio for the Tom Tontimonia Invitational. This tournament will be hosted by Cleveland State and span two days overall at the Lakewood Country Club. NKU will be competing against strong regional opponents including Dayton, Bowling Green, Youngstown State, Green Bay, Butler and Loyola (Chicago).
