INDIANAPOLIS – Northern Kentucky volleyball looked to get back on track Friday evening with a 3-0 victory over Horizon League opponent IUPUI on the road in Indianapolis.
Northern Kentucky (6-11, 4-2 Horizon) saw close sets in all three games against the Jaguars of IUPUI (9-9, 3-3 Horizon), but the Norse were not looking to let opportunity slip away this time around, winning three straight sets at 25-21, 25-22, 25-22. NKU was dominant defensively tonight, totaling 10.0 blocks as a team and out-dug the Jags 52-50. The Norse also posted a team hitting percentage of .291, which included recording a percentage of .444 in the third and final set alone.
