DAYTON, Ohio – The Northern Kentucky women's basketball continues to show their toughness and grit early in the 2022-23 season, as the Norse captured their second win of the year after taking down Dayton in double-overtime fashion from the UD Arena Thursday evening.

GAME BREAKDOWN
- Davis was nearly unstoppable this evening, putting up a career-high 26 points versus the Flyers in the victory. Davis shot 9-for-17 from the floor, including hitting four three-pointers and went a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
- Duvall continued doing what she does best and that is get to the basket, totaling 30 points against Dayton, she led the Norse to a four-point victory. She also went a perfect 8-for-8 from the charity stripe and secured nine rebounds in the contest as well.
- Souder finished with her first double-double of the season, pulling down 10 rebounds while totaling 11 points in the double overtime win.
- The last time Northern Kentucky won a double-overtime matchup was during the 1996-97 season with the Norse defeating SIU-Edwardsville 87-78 at Edwardsville.
- NKU currently leads the Horizon League in points per game with 79.0. Additionally Duvall leads the conference in scoring, averaging 26.0 points per matchup through three games now.
