INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Northern Kentucky women's basketball graduate senior
Lindsey Duvall was named the Nike Horizon League Player of the Week on Nov. 21, as announced by the league office this afternoon.

Camryn Whitaker. "She continues to be a leader for our team and only cares about winning, which is what makes her such a special player!"
Duvall, a guard from Mt. Washington, Ky., continued to provide dominating and gritty performances early in this 2022-23 season as the Norse went 2-0 overall this past week. Duvall led the Norse with 49 total minutes played in a double-overtime thriller on the road against Dayton where NKU downed the Flyers 82-78. She finished the contest with a game-high 30 points along with adding nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and went a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line. She additionally shot 50 percent from the floor (10-for-20), and committed only one foul throughout the game.
In her second game of the week, Duvall anchored the Norse once again with a 75-53 win against Ohio Valley Conference preseason favorite Tennessee Tech. She totaled a game-high 16 points with four boards and two assists to combine with going 8-for-9 from the charity stripe.
Duvall has now posted two 30-point games in four games, along with scoring in double-digits in each of those contests to begin the year. Overall this week Duvall averaged 23.0 points per game, 6.5 rebounds per game, shot 43.8 percent from the field, averaged 40.2 minutes per game, went 16-for-17 (94 percent) from the free throw line, and added five assists and three steals overall. She additionally leads the Horizon League in scoring (23.5 ppg), total points (94), free throws made (33), minutes played (163), minutes per game (40.8), total defensive rebounds (32) and free throws attempted (44)
The Norse will hit the road next as NKU travels north to take on Bowling Green State University on Wednesday, Nov. 23. This nonconference matchup is scheduled to tip-off at 2:00 PM (ET) inside the Stroh Center.
