HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky men's basketball program continued its winning ways with an 81-41 blowout victory over Miami-Hamilton inside Truist Arena on Sunday afternoon. The Norse have now two straight and 5-of-its-last-6 contests overall.

Marques Warrick found his shooting stroke as he went off for 26 points to go with three rebounds, two assists and a steal. He shot 8-of-10 from the field, which included a mark of 6-of-8 from beyond the arc. It was the fifth time this season that Warrick has went for 20-plus points in a contest, and his 10th double-digit game overall.

Imanuel Zorgvol had another big afternoon with a career-best 15 points, eight boards and two steals. He was a near-perfect 6-of-7 from the field as he turned into a second half lob monster. It has continued a strong run for a key reserve for the Norse.

Sam Vinson made his impact felt all over the court with 12 points, a career-best eight steals, four rebounds and three assists. It was the most steals for a NKU student-athlete in the NCAA Division I era.

A'lahn Sumler made it back-to-back career outings as he tied his career-best with 12 points. He also added two assists, two boards and a steal. Sumler has now gone for 12 points in back-to-back contests in his first extended run as a freshman.
- The Norse forced 26 Miami-Hamilton turnovers with 17 NKU steals overall. It was the most steals in a contest for the Norse since NKU swiped Alice Lloyd 21 times back on Dec. 12, 2021.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The two sides battled through the first three minutes of the game, as NKU found itself down 5-4 with 17:32 left to go in the opening half.
- It was all Northern Kentucky from that point on with NKU going on a 36-13 run to end the half to hit the locker room with a 40-18 lead. The Norse were led by 16 points from Warrick on the run, as the Norse went 11-of-24 from the field while holding Miami-Hamilton to a 4-of-16 clip.
- Miami-Hamilton came out fast in the second half and were able to cut it to a 43-31 NKU lead with 15:57 left in the game.
- NKU ended the game on a 38-10 run, which included scoring the last 24 points of the game over the final eight minutes, to close out the 81-41 victory. Over the final eight minutes of the contest, Northern Kentucky went 8-of-12 from the field compared to Miami-Hamilton's mark of 0-for-9.
