• Northern Kentucky enters the weekend after beating UIC inside BB&T Arena 67-57. The Norse completed the season sweep of the Flames with this win as well.

Grayson Rose is ranked for 13th overall in the nation in total blocks with 55. She is also ranked 15th in the country in blocks per game at 2.5. She has been a force on the glass this season, ranking 40th in the nation in total rebounds with 208. She ranks 46th overall in boards per game with at 9.5 as well.

Lindsey Duvall currently ranks second overall in the Horizon League in scoring average with 18.0 points per game. Duvall is first in the conference in total points however, with 395. She is also fifth overall in rebounding in the conference at 7.4 boards per game.

Khamari Mitchell-Steen currently ranks first overall in the Horizon League in total steals with 45.
• NKU currently sits at 17-5 overall with a 11-4 record in Horizon League play. This is the best all-time start in the NCAA Division l era for the Norse, and the best Horizon League start for Northern Kentucky as well.
• Rose is second overall in the Horizon League in rebounding with 9.5 boards per game, and leads in the conference in total rebounds with 208. She additionally leads the conference in blocked shots with 55, and leads in block shots per game at 2.5 this season.
• Duvall's incredible streak of scoring in double-digits in every single game she has worn a Northern Kentucky uniform was snapped at UIC (Feb. 1) earlier this week. Her impressive streak lasted 37 consecutive games.

Kailee Davis was named the Nike Horizon League Freshman of the Week during the week of Jan. 10-16.
• Turner was named the Nike Horizon League Player of the Week during the week of Nov. 20-28.
• Duvall was named the Nike Horizon League Player of the Week during the week of Dec. 6-12 and during the week for Dec. 27-Jan. 2.
• Duvall and Turner each received conference accolades with Duvall earning Horizon League Preseason All-League First Team and Turner getting an All-League Second Team nod.
• The Norse were picked to finish fourth in the 2021-22 Horizon League Preseason Coaches Poll.
• The Norse finished the 2020-21 season eighth overall in the Horizon League. NKU defeated Robert Morris in the first round of the conference tournament before falling to rival and number one seed Wright State in the quarterfinals.
Last Time Out
Northern Kentucky completed the season sweep of UIC Thursday evening, defeating the Flames 67-57 in Highland Heights, Ky. The Norse were led by Duvall who's hot hand totaled 28 total points, shooting 9-for-16 from the floor. She also added nine rebounds and three assists to her stat sheet. Emmy Souder posted her second consecutive game finishing in double-figure scoring with 12 points tonight, shooting 5-of-9 overall. Souder. joined Duvall in bringing down nine total boards and she recorded two steals as well. Khamari Mitchell-Steen total a game-high five steals in this Norse victory, a new career-high for the freshman guard. This was the sixth straight win over UIC for Northern Kentucky. The Norse now hold a 11-2 all-time record over the Flames.
Scouting the Jaguars
IUPUI enters Saturday on a 12-game winning streak after defeating Wright State on Thursday, Feb. 10, 73-60. The last loss the Jaguars have seen came at the hands of NKU on Dec. 31, 2021, where the Norse beat IUPUI in Indianapolis, 54-53. The Jags are led by reigning Horizon League Player of the Year, Macee Williams who is averaging a double-double this season with 17.8 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Williams also leads the team in steals with 27 as well. Rachel McLimore and Rachel Kent both average double-figure scoring for IUPUI also as McLimore is totaling 13.0 ppg and Kent averaging 10.8 pgg.
Series Stuff
The Norse have dominated the overall season-series against IUPUI, posting an all-time record of 21-6. When Playing in Highland Heights NKU is currently 13-1 against the Jags, and have won the last two matchups.
