CINCINNATI – The Northern Kentucky women's tennis team was defeated by the Bearcats of Cincinnati Wednesday afternoon by a final score of 7-0 at the Western Athletic Club. The Norse fall to 2-6 overall this season while UC improves to 13-4 overall.

MATCH NOTABLES

• UC began the afternoon capturing the doubles point for the early lead over the Norse. The duo of Flanagan and Niehaus defeated Ananya Kothakota and Daniela Rosenberger 6-2.
• The Bearcats swept through the Norse in singles competition, to ultimately take down Northern Kentucky 7-0.
• For the Norse Maria Koo and Sylvia Gray lead the team in singles wins this season as Koo is currently 5-2 overall and Gray has a record of 5-3.
