CHICAGO – The Northern Kentucky women's tennis team was taken down by the Flames of UIC in Horizon League action by a score of 5-2. The Norse drop to 2-7 overall this season, while the Flames improve to 11-3 on the year. 

MATCH NOTABLES

• The Norse started off strong in doubles action, as Sylvia Gray and Elizabeth Rozin took down the duo of Malazonia and Hrabalova by a score of 6-3.
• Northern Kentucky captured the doubles point with a win from the team of Ananya Kothakota and Daniela Rosenberger who defeated Hermanny and Forste-Dinell 7-5 overall. 
• In singles action, the Norse picked up a win from Sylvia Gray who beat Hermanny by a score of 6-7 (4), 6-3, 7-6 (2). 
• NKU saw multiple intense matchups in this conference tilt in singles play, as both Maria Koo and Laura Sola Grau fell in closely contested battles against UIC.
