CINCINNATI – The Northern Kentucky women's tennis (3-10) team took down nonconference opponent Dayton (9-12) in their home finale from the Five Seasons Sports Club Wednesday afternoon by a score of 5-2. 

MATCH NOTABLES

• The Norse started the day with a doubles win from Maria Koo and Laura Sola Grau as the duo defeated Wojcikiewicz and Greb by a score of 6-0. Koo and Grau improve their doubles record together to 5-4 overall this season. 
• Sonia Tandelova and Ananya Kothakota then captured the doubles point for NKU with a 6-2 victory over DeMarco and Katauskas. The team of Tandelova and Kothakota are now 1-1 in doubles action this year. 
• In singles action, Maria Koo started Northern Kentucky on the right foot with a win over Hamilton at 6-0, 6-2. Koo continues to lead the Norse this season in singles play with an overall record of 7-5.
• Daniela Rosenberger was next up to turn in a victory for the Norse by defeating Ghidotti by a score of 7-5, 6-4, and this is Rosenberger's second singles win of the year. 
• Laura Sola Grau earned the singles win by taking down Wojcikiewicz with a score of 6-3, 2-6, 6-3. Grau improves to 4-9 overall this season. 
• Finally, NKU capped off the afternoon with a win from Ananya Kothakota who defeated Kompa with a score of 6-4, 2-6, 6-4. Kothakota is currently on a two-match winning streak in singles action, and currently holds a record of 3-7 this year.
