Men's Soccer Bested by Rival Wright State

DAYTON, Ohio – Northern Kentucky men's soccer was defeated in Horizon League action Saturday night by right Wright State on the road by a final score of 1-0. 

Northern Kentucky (3-5-1, 1-2-0 Horizon) found themselves in an intense road battle with conference rival Wright State (2-3-3, 2-0-1 Horizon), as this match saw 27 total fouls between the two programs, with NKU totaling 14 of those. There were no lack of offensive attempts in this contest either as the Norse totaled 16 shots compared to the Raiders who tallied 17 overall this evening. WSU managed to manage the scoring drought between these the clubs in the 39' minute as Brock Pickett scored off a header, which proved to be the game winner by the final whistle.
