HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The heart of the fall schedule continues for Northern Kentucky Athletics as the Norse have six programs in action this week, highlighted by a jam-packed Saturday, where three home contests will all be conducted on the NKU campus, which includes men's and women's soccer and volleyball.
 
The week sees the home-opening weekend for Norse volleyball after playing their first 13 matches on the road or at neutral sites. NKU's match on Friday, Sept. 30 against Green Bay will feature a fan giveaway as NKU water bottles will be provided to the first 50 fans in attendance at Regents Hall. The contest on Saturday, Oct. 1 will be an Alumni Day celebration for Northern Kentucky volleyball and also features a NKU towel giveaway for fans and supporters.
 

MEN'S SOCCER

The Northern Kentucky men's soccer program is coming off a tie with Western Illinois and a close loss to rival Wright State a week ago. The Norse men are refocused and will continue Horizon League action this Saturday, Oct. 1 at home from Scudamore Field at 3 PM ET.
 
 
WOMEN'S SOCCER

The Northern Kentucky women's soccer program looks to make it back-to-back wins at Scudamore Field as the Norse play host to Robert Morris for another Horizon League showdown, set for Saturday, Oct. 1 at noon at the NKU Soccer Stadium. Tickets for Saturday's clash will include the men's doubleheader which follows at 3 PM ET. For those unable to attend, the contest will also be streamed in front of a national audience on ESPN+.


MEN'S AND WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Saturday at the Live in Lou Classic (9 AM ET): Meet Homepage | Watch

The Northern Kentucky men's and women's cross country squads take the short trip south for the prestigious Live in Lou Classic, which will run on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 9 AM ET. The site of the race, E.P. Tom Sawyer Park, hosted the 2012, 2015 and 2017 NCAA Division I National Championships. It will be the largest and most skilled field that NKU will face this season, as a perfect primer for the Horizon League Championships later in the season.

Norse women's volleyball got off to a perfect start in Horizon League play last weekend, sweeping both Oakland and Cleveland State on the road. NKU is hyped to play in front of their own home crowd for the first time this season, hosting conference opponents Green Bay and Milwaukee on Friday and Saturday respectively. First serve against the Phoenix on Friday, Sept. 30 is slated for 6 PM ET while Saturday's match against the Panthers will start at 4 PM.

NKU women's golf wraps up play at the UIC Briar Ridge Invitational from Schereville, Ind. hosted at the Briar Ridge Country Club. This is the third fall tournament for Northern Kentucky women's golf.
