HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky men's soccer program was defeated in an incredibly physical battle by the Jaguars of Horizon League leading IUPUI Saturday night from NKU Soccer Stadium.

MATCH BREAKDOWN
- IUPUI jumped onto the scoreboard early in this match with a goal in the 14' minute from Lukas Hackaa on an assist from both Gijs Velings and Josemir Gomez.
- The Jaguars added to their lead in the opening half with another goal in the 36' minute as Logan Finnegan found the back of the net on the assist from Hackaa.
- IUPUI capped off the scoring in this contest in the 55' minute with a brace from Finnegan who once again was assisted by Hackaa.
- This was the most physical game of the season for Northern Kentucky as each squad finished with 20 fouls each in the match. Additionally, a total of seven yellow cards were issued throughout the evening, four for the Norse and three for the Jags.
- These two teams were fairly even on chances on the night with the Norse totaling 11 shots, two of which were on goal and IUPUI finishing with 13 overall shots, three of which were on target.
- Roberto Burlew led NKU in total shots tonight with three, one of which was on goal. Burlew also played the full 90' minutes against the Jaguars.

The Northern Kentucky men's soccer program will be in action next on Saturday, October 21 as the Norse make the long trip north to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. NKU will meet the Panthers in a Horizon League match slated for a 2 p.m. (ET) / 1 p.m. (CT) start and will be broadcasted on ESPN+ as well.
