MILWAUKEE – The Northern Kentucky men's soccer program earned themselves a hard-fought victory on the road Saturday afternoon, as the Norse took down Horizon League adversary Milwaukee by a score of 3-2.

MATCH BREAKDOWN
- Northern Kentucky was the first to strike and the Norse wasted no time in doing so as Parker Vasic blasted a shot that beat the Milwaukee goalkeeper in just the 2' minute of play. Vasic was assisted on this play by Caleb Mundell and Yonatan Cohen as well who were able to lead Vasic towards the net.
- Vasic earned himself his first goal during his sophomore campaign and this was his second of his Norse career.
- Mundell and Cohen each notched their first assist in a Northern Kentucky uniform on this goal.
- The Panthers evened up the match in the 18' minute with a goal from Bienvenu Djunga on the assist from Raul Medina and Daiki Kumakawa.
- The Norse fired right back in the 31' minute with a goal from Roberto Burlew who was able to beat the MKE goalkeeper at point blank range for the go-ahead score. Sam Robinson provided the assist on this goal as well.
- Robinson also posted his first assist of 2023 today and saw his career total increase to nine as well.
- Milwaukee found an equalizer in the 57' minute during the second half of action as Djunga once again found the back of the net off the assist from Matthew Toolan.
- NKU found their game-winner late in the match at the 83' minute as it was Burlew once again who chipped a fantastic ball over the Panther goalkeeper to find the back of the net for the second time today. Vasic secured himself an assist on the ball played through to Burlew as well.
- Burlew finished the day with two goals, his first and second on the year and increased his career total up to four as well.
- Vasic's assist was the first of the season as well and the second of his Northern Kentucky career.

The Northern Kentucky men's soccer program are back in action next on Saturday, October 28 as the Norse will host Purdue Fort Wayne in yet another Horizon League clash. NKU and the Mastodons will meet inside NKU Soccer Stadium at 1 p.m. (ET) and it will be senior day from Scudamore Field prior to the start of the match. This conference contest will be broadcasted on ESPN+ nationally as well.
