HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky cross country and track & field programs are celebrating 50 years of competition and to honor the accomplishment, the NKU Athletics Department will be offering a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork for fans and supporters that they won't want to miss out on!
Own a piece of Norse history as in celebration of this historic milestone, NKU Athletics is offering a unique and extremely limited piece of artwork that tracks the uniform history of the program, from the founding of the teams to today. Only 100 individually numbered and professionally framed pieces will be made available for a gift to the cross country and track program of $500 or more.
"This is a great way for our alums and supporters for all of these years to help the current student-athletes and future alums help reach their goals," head coach Steve Kruse said. "The Cross Country and Track & Field programs at NKU are poised for major changes in the very near future and we are excited to continue the rich tradition of commitment and dedication that our alumni base has worked so hard to establish. This piece was 50 years in the making and is a great way to give back to the program and display Norse Pride at home or in the office."
NKU alumni, fans and supporters can make their donation to the men's cross country and track & field program here, and the women's cross country and track & field program here. Once a donation of $500 or more is received, a member of the NKU Athletics development team will reach out to get the delivery of your limited-edition gift set up.
