CLEVELAND – The Northern Kentucky volleyball program shot back into the win column Saturday afternoon after defeating Cleveland State on the road inside Woodling Gymnasium.

MATCH NOTES
- Joy Banks turned in yet another double-double in the 3-0 win over Cleveland State, posting 10 kills and 11 digs. This was her 11th double-double during the 2023 season and her third consecutive match with one as well.
- Abby Kanakry chipped in nine kills in the winning effort along with four block assists. Kanakry saw her career total in block assists jump up to 333 as she trails Jessica Buroker at 338 for the all-time Norse record.
- Freshman Ivey Stocks posted five total blocks against the Vikings, a career-high for Stocks during her young collegiate career.
- This was the 10th consecutive victory over the Vikings of Cleveland State for NKU, dating back to 2018 and this was the fifth consecutive series sweep of CSU as well.
- Northern Kentucky currently sits in third place in the Horizon League standings at 10-4, trailing leader Milwaukee at 11-2 and Wright State at 11-3.
