HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky men's soccer program was tripped up at home in an intense Horizon League contest as the Phoenix of Green Bay defeated the Norse by a final score fo 2-1 Saturday afternoon.

MATCH BREAKDOWN
- The Norse jumped on the scoreboard first in this contest as Wade Stinson found the back of the net in the 6' minute against Green Bay and was assisted by Maddox Behnfeldt and Roberto Burlew.
- This was Stinson's first career collegiate goal, and Behnfeldt notched his first collegiate assist of his carer as well. Burlew racked up assist number three on the year and was his sixth of his career.
- The Phoenix answered quickly with the equalizer in the 14' minute as Jake Parish scored on his own.
- Green Bay found what would prove to be the game-winner in the 19' minute as Andrew Paolucci found the back of the net on the assist from Parish.
- NKU and Green Bay were similar in the team statistics with the Norse finishing with 10 total shots with the Phoenix totaling nine.
- This was a physical match as five total yellow cards were issued, three for the Norse and two for the Phoenix. GB led the contest with 11 total fouls compared to Northern Kentucky with nine as well.
