HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky men's basketball program put on a show in the Norse's home opener as NKU cruised to an 85-68 victory over DePauw inside Truist Arena on Tuesday night.
The big win comes right before Northern Kentucky heads across the river for a rematch against Cincinnati on Sunday.

Sam Vinson and
Marques Warrick led the Norse with 21 points apiece, respectively. Vinson hit a career-high five three-pointers to go with three rebounds, three assists and a steal. Warrick bounced back in a big way with the point total to go with three boards, three steals and two helpers.

Cade Meyer had a big game in the paint as he posted 12 points on a 4-of-5 night from the field. He also chipped in four rebounds and a swipe.

Michael Bradley had another strong contest running the point with seven points and a game-high seven assists. It is the second straight game that the Mercyhurst transfer has posted seven helpers.

LJ Wells added nine points of his own to go along with three boards.

It's rematch time for Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati as the Norse head over the river for a showdown with the Bearcats on Sunday, November 19 at Fifth Third Arena. Tip is set for 2 PM ET and the game will be played in front of a national audience on ESPN+ and ESPN 1530.
