HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky men's basketball program continued its winning ways as the Norse knocked off Robert Morris, 77-59 in the Horizon League opener on Wednesday night inside Truist Arena. To go with the conference opening victory, NKU also collected its third straight win overall.

Marques Warrick finished with a season-best 25 points to go with four rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Sam Vinson was next with 15 points, five boards, two swipes and a rejection. With the steal total, the local product moved into 10th all-time in school history with 156 swipes, a feat he has accomplished in just two-and-a-half seasons.

Cade Meyer had a big game in the paint for the Norse as he finished with 10 points, two rebounds, two blocks and an assist in 20 minutes of action.

Trey Robinson posted eight points of his own to go along with four boards and two steals.

LJ Wells had another strong outing with six points, eight rebounds and a helper.
- The Norse posted 42 points in the paint, the second straight game of 42-plus points around the basket. NKU also attempted a season-low 11 three-point attempts but did shoot 5-of-11 from beyond the arc (45.5 percent), a new season-best.
- NKU had 12 student-athletes check into the game in total.
