MORAGA, Calif. – The Northern Kentucky men's basketball program suffered a setback on their latest trip to the west coast as the Norse were knocked off by the Saint Mary's Gaels in their final non-conference game of the 2023-24 season inside the University Credit Union Pavilion on Friday night.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Marques Warrick posted another double-digit showing with 14 points and two assists.
- Trey Robinson had yet another strong outing with a 14-point, five-rebound performance. He has averaged 15.8 points and 7.3 boards per game over his last four contests.
- Michael Bradley chipped in 10 points and one assist. He shot 2-of-3 from beyond the arc and 2-of-2 from the charity stripe.
- Jeramiah Israel continued his strong stretch of play with eight points, two helpers and a board in 20 minutes of run.
- LJ Wells pulled down a team-best nine rebounds to go with five points.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was an exciting opening seven minutes of action as NKU was able to jump out to a 14-11 lead with 13:36 left in the first half.
- The two sides continued to trade blows as Saint Mary's was able to take a 31-26 edge with 2:28 remaining.
- The Gaels finished the half on a 7-2 run to claim a 38-29 lead after 20 minutes of action.
- It was all Saint Mary's in the second half. The Gaels won the final 20 minutes, 54-27, to close out the 92-56 victory.
