HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky baseball program was downed by the Penguins of Youngstown State Saturday afternoon from the Bill Aker Baseball Complex. YSU evened up the weekend series at 1-1 overall, as the Norse look ahead to Sunday to take the series in their home finale.

- Odom belted his sixth home run of the 2023 season, after a second-inning solo shot to left field in this conference matchup. Odom has now crushed home runs in the last 2-out-of-4 games as well.
- Wimmers turned in yet another multi-hit day after going 2-for-3 against Youngstown State. Wimmers has now totaled 10 multi-hit games in 2023, including posting back-to-back two-hit days in this weekend series.
- The Norse have totaled 28 wins on the season now, which is a NKU Baseball program record for most victories in the NCAA Division I era dating back to 2017 (25-33).
