DAYTON, Ohio – The Northern Kentucky baseball program fought hard against the Raiders of Wright State Sunday afternoon, but the arch rival of the Norse managed to complete the series sweep in Dayton, taking game number three by a final score of 7-3.

NORSE NOTES
- Vorhees belted his 10th home run of the season today in the top of the 7th inning against the Raiders. Manny ties his NKU career-high in homers now after smashing 10 a season ago, and he is well beyond his career-high in runs driven in with 55 on the year.
- NKU now sits in second place in the Horizon League at 15-9 overall, and are three games back of Wright State after this weekend's series. The Norse are just two games ahead of the Golden Grizzlies of Oakland at 13-11 as well.
- The Norse have totaled 26 wins on the season now, which is a NKU Baseball program record for most victories in the NCAA Division I era dating back to 2017 (25-33).

Northern Kentucky Baseball returns home next on Tuesday, May 9 as the Norse will welcome Butler to the Bill Aker Baseball Complex for a nonconference bout. NKU and the Bulldogs will meet at Friendship Field this Tuesday with first pitch scheduled for 3:00 PM (ET).
