MEN'S XC SCHEDULE | WOMEN'S XC SCHEDULE
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky men's and women's cross country programs and head coach
Steve Kruse have announced their 2023 schedule on Wednesday. The highly anticipated campaign will get underway with the 40th annual running of the Queen City Invitational, ran in Highland Heights at the Valhalla course on NKU's campus on September 1.
In total, the Norse will host their season opener to go with four road meets, in addition to postseason competition at the Horizon League Championships and the NCAA South East Regionals.
Northern Kentucky gets its 2023 season underway with the Queen City Invitational on Friday, September 1. The women's 5,000-meter race will get the event started at 5:30 PM ET, with the men's 5,000-meter race to follow directly behind at 6:15 PM.
The month of September is rounded out with two road meets with the return of IUPUI's Jaguar Invitational on Friday, September 15 and a chance to toe the line at the prestigious Live in Lou Classic on Saturday, September 30.
As the calendar turns to October, NKU will turn its attention to championship season as the two teams will be split between the Bradley Pink Meet and the Jenna Strong Invitational on Friday, October 13 for a final tune-up before the Horizon League Championships on Saturday, October 28.
November brings with it NCAA postseason meets with both the NCAA South East Regionals on Friday, November 10 followed by the NCAA National Championships on Saturday, November 18. The South East Regionals are hosted by USC Upstate while NCAAs is hosted by the University of Virginia, respectively.
