HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky men's basketball program put on an absolute show in front of Norse Nation as NKU recorded a thrilling 79-76 comeback victory over Horizon League rival Youngstown State inside Truist Arena on Thursday night.
The Norse, who found themselves down by as much as 16 in the contest, sealed the win with a deep
Marques Warrick three with just 43 seconds left on the clock. The victory moved the Norse into third place in the Horizon with a mark of 3-1 in conference play.

Marques Warrick led the way with 29 points on a 9-of-16 night from the field, which included a mark of 5-of-10 from beyond the arc. He also added three steals, three assists and a rebound.

Keeyan Itejere had his best game as a Norse as the sophomore posted a 19-point, nine-rebound performance. He shot 8-of-10 on the evening to go with a game-high three blocks. Itejere also set a season-best in points, boards and made field goals (eight).

LJ Wells had a big game with 12 points, three boards, and a steal. He went a perfect 4-of-4 from the floor and set a season-best in points and minutes (28).

Michael Bradley was a wizard at the point as he posted nine points, and a season-high in both assists (11) and boards (five). He didn't turn the ball over a single time in 39 minutes of action.

Jeramiah Israel (five points, six rebounds) and
Randall Pettus II (three points, career-best two steals and one rebound) also chipped in big for NKU.
