MOON TOWNSHIP, Penn. — Northern Kentucky women's volleyball returned to action on Friday night as the Norse hit the road for a pair of matches at Robert Morris.
NKU took home the victory in the first match of the weekend, taking down the Colonials in four sets.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Northern Kentucky posted one of its most efficient offensive outputs of the season with 64 kills and a .282 hitting percentage as a team. Three Norse finished with 10+ kills.
- Joy Banks flirted with a 20/20 match, finishing with 20 kills and 19 digs while hitting .356.
- Lucy Cluxton, the defensive anchor for NKU, finished with a match-high 25 digs.
- Torie Houston finished with a double-double, posting 21 assists and 10 digs.
- Sydney Bray and Allison Risley each finished with 14 kills. Bray continued her efficient season with a .400 hitting percentage, posting just two errors on 30 swings.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Northern Kentucky took the first set 25-20 before RMU evened the match in Set 2.
- NKU was down 13-10 in Set 3, but rattled off nine straight points and won the set 25-22, hitting .304 as a team.
- The Norse stepped up their game in the fourth set, hitting .324 to take home a victory 25-21.
