HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – There's a new king in scoring in Highland Heights.
Marques Warrick became the Northern Kentucky men's basketball all-time leading scorer as he helped pace the Norse to a 79-67 victory over Horizon League foe Detroit Mercy inside Truist Arena on Saturday evening.
With his 22-point performance, Warrick is now up to school record 2,069 career points as NKU collected its second straight Horizon win.

- Warrick Watch is officially over with Marques taking over the school scoring crown. He dropped 22 points, his third consecutive 20-plus point game, to go with a season-best five assists and two rebounds.

Michael Bradley continued his strong run of play with 16 points, a game-high six helpers, three swipes and three boards.

LJ Wells went off for a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. He also chipped in an assist and a steal.

Trey Robinson posted 10 points with six boards, three helpers and two steals.

Keeyan Itejere and
Randall Pettus II each recorded eight points apiece, respectively. Itejere had nine rebounds and a block while Pettus II finished with three boards, one helper and a game-high four steals.
