FULL RESULTS
HUNTINGTON, WV – The Northern Kentucky men's and women's track & field teams combined for one of the program's bests days in recent memory as the Norse concluded the 2024 Marshall Invitational at the Chris Cline Athletic Complex on Saturday.
As a team, the Norse men and women combined for three victories, six second-place finishes and two third-place performances, to go with numeral personal records.

NOTABLES
- The NKU men showed out in the 3000-meter race. Natnael Weldemichael led the way with a victory in the event at 8:23.79, a personal best. Colton O'Hara, fresh off his Friday win, finished second overall (8:30.27).
- Layla Henderson won the women's 3000-meter run with a personal record of 10:03.29. Sophia DeLisio joined her on the podium as she crossed the line in third with a personal-best time of 10:12.72.
- Erin Starks had a day with a second-place performance in both the 60-meter hurdles (8.82) and 200-meter dash (25.01). She also posted a personal best with an 8.76 in the 60H prelims.
- Meredith Goff matched her with two podium finishes of her own. The sophomore claimed a victory in the women's 200-meter dash (24.82) and crossed the line in second overall in the women's 60-meter dash (7.61).
- Olivia Kennedy kept it rolling for the Norse as she ran to a second-place finish in the women's 800-meter run with a personal-best time of 2:13.02.
- Weldemichael also placed second in the men's mile as he dropped a time of 4:12.62. Jacob Line finished right behind him in fifth at 4:20.52.
- Andrea Armstrong joined the podium squad as she took third in the women's 400-meter dash at 56.82. She also finished fourth overall in the women's 200-meter dash as she crossed the line in 25.09.
- Jacquelyn Witt led the Norse in the women's mile with a time of 5:14.96 to take fifth overall. Grace Biddle followed close behind in seventh (5:17.91).
- Jared Humphrey added a sixth-place showing in the men's 400-meter dash at 51.63.
- Charlie Casey also finished sixth overall in the men's 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.46.
- Kylie Dilley finished seventh in the women's long jump and ninth in the women's triple jump with best leaps of 4.54 meters and 9.69 meters, respectively.
NEXT UP
It is officially championship season for Northern Kentucky as the squads are set to compete against the conference's best at the 2024 Horizon League Indoor Champpionships, hosted by Youngstown State on Saturday, February 24 through Sunday, February 25 at the Watson & Tressel Center.
