GREEN BAY – A little cold weather couldn't cool off the Northern Kentucky softball program as the Norse posted back-to-back shutouts over Green Bay in a Horizon League doubleheader on Thursday afternoon.

Ella LeMonier had a huge opening game for the Norse as she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, three runs scored and a walk. She also added a stolen base.

Maddie Lacer (1-for-4, run scored and a base on balls),
Megan Lenhart (1-for-2, one run and a walk) and
Sydni Barnes (1-for-4) each chipped in a RBI for NKU in the opener, respectively.

Jena Rhoads also added a run, off a 1-for-3 game at the plate to go with a base on balls.

Lauryn Hicks was near perfect in the circle as she posted a complete game with six strikeouts. She allowed just two hits and no earned runs to pick up her fourth win of the season.
- The top of the order stood out for the Norse in the second game.
- LeMonier continued her strong afternoon with a 1-for-3 outing that featured a RBI and a run scored.

Olivia Pastin (1-for-2, one run) and Lacer (2-for-3) also added a RBI in the contest, respectively.

Brooklyn Ballis recorded her first career shutout of her collegiate career as she went all seven innings with nine strikeouts. She allowed just six hits and zero earned runs to lead the Norse to the win.
