Men's Soccer plays in front of largest home crowd since 2015 Sunday vs. Bellarmine

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky men's soccer team battled for 90 minutes with former GLVC rival Bellarmine at NKU Soccer Stadium, with the Norse netting their first goal of the season late in the first half.

The Norse drew a great crowd, with the 509 fans in attendance marking the largest crowd since 2015 for the men's soccer program.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
  • Tyler Murphy scored the first Norse goal of the season towards the end of the first half on an assist from Jason Purks. The goal marked Murphy's first in a Northern Kentucky kit.
  • NKU was forced to play with 10 men after the 49th minute due to a red card.
