HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — Northern Kentucky men's soccer extended its unbeaten streak to five matches on Saturday afternoon as the Norse played to a 1-1 draw with defending Horizon League champion Oakland at NKU Soccer Stadium.
NKU has drawn four of its last five with a win over Western Illinois on September 8.

- Tyler Murphy provided the equalizer for the Norse in the 59th minute, marking his third goal of the season. Itay Soffer was credited with the assist.

- Oakland jumped on top in the 19th minute on an unassisted goal by Abdul Al-Rashed. NKU was held scoreless in the first half but held a 9-6 advantage in shots.
- Tyler Murphy's equalizer brought the match level in the 59th minute.
- NKU held an advantage in total shots 15-13, with four on goal.
