CLEVELAND, Ohio  — Northern Kentucky volleyball bounced back from a loss on Friday with a big win over Cleveland State on Saturday, knocking off the Vikings by a final score of 3-1. 

NKU dropped the first set, but roared back with three straight set victories to split the weekend twinbill in Cleveland. NKU and CSU split the weekend series.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Joy Banks led the way once again for NKU with her sixth straight double-double. Banks finished with 16 kills and 13 digs in the win. 
• Lucy Cluxton led NKU with 22 digs, her second straight 20+ dig performance and 11th straight 10+ dig outing. 
• Allison Risley impressed once again for the Norse, ranking third on the team in kills with 10. 
• Ivey Stocks led the Norse in efficiency in the victory, notching 11 kills at a .400 hitting percentage. Stocks also led NKU in blocks with three total rejections. 
• Lainey Green (25) and Torie Houston (26) led NKU in assists, combining for 51. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Cleveland State picked up the win in set one, 25-19.
• Northern Kentucky roared back with three straight set wins to take a 3-1 victory. NKU hit .286 in set three and .278 in set four to win, while holding Cleveland State to a mere .172 hitting percentage.
