HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. -- Northern Kentucky men's basketball looked to avenge Wednesday's loss at Youngstown on Saturday, as the Norse hosted reigning Horizon League Champion Oakland at Truist Arena. 

NKU could not overcome a strong Oakland frontcourt, as the Golden Grizzlies scored 29 second chance points on 20 offensive boards. NKU fell for the second straight game.

• Sam Vinson led NKU in scoring with 11 points. Vinson had a steal and a pair of assists. 
• Josh Dilling scored 10 points, hitting a pair of 3PT shots in 27 minutes. 
• Keeyan Itejere led NKU in rebounds with seven. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• NKU fell behind early 12-3, and could not get any closer than three during the rest of the game. Oakland led by as much as 20 in the loss.
